From the USA comes the initiative to unite as citizens worldwide to politically enforce the banishment of war as a means of conflict resolution and to build an effective global security system for it (worldbeyondwar.org).

We at the International PeaceFactory Wanfried have joined the initiative "Worldbeyondwar" (for a world without war) and propose that peace activists in Germany form a network "Worldbeyondwar Germany" as part of the global initiative.

We want to achieve this by discussing and deciding on common goals (below is a first proposal) and by organising nationwide peace consultations on acute questions of war and peace (which can also be followed by peace actions) and by developing and discussing peace education building blocks for the formation of peace multipliers for networking in Germany.

A Goal in and for Europe and its states:

    1. Sustainably securing peace in Germany
We want to help ensure that all conflicts in Germany are resolved only by peaceful means.

    2. Creating conditions for sustainable peace in Germany
We want the conditions for sustainable peace in Germany to be strengthened, as adopted in the UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the UN Social Covenant and the Charter of Paris and in the Basic Law, and as modelled in the Civilisational Hexagon (Octagon). We advocate that through disarmament, means are gained for the creation of better living conditions in Germany and for the conversion to an ecologically sustainable economy and way of life in Germany. We want to contribute to the German policy of orienting the German economy towards the fulfilment of social, economic, political and cultural human rights.

    3. Creating peace from "below" by networking peace activists and interested parties

We see the commitment and networking of us citizens in Germany as a fundamental force for advancing peace. Each of us can contribute to building sustainable relationships between peace activists in Germany in order to jointly implement peace policies. In the networking of non-party constituency forums in the Bundestag constituencies, we see the approach as a society to influence peace policy decisions and to be able to contribute directly as citizens. In this way, cooperation with migrants in local and regional civil society can be advanced and divisions overcome.

B Goals for shaping Germany's foreign relations with other states of the world

    1. Internationale Zusammenarbeit zur Beendigung der Kriege und zur nachhaltigen Sicherung  von Frieden

We want to help ensure that Germany no longer uses force against other states in the world and intervenes militarily, but only resolves its conflicts with other states by peaceful means.

    1. We want to help ensure that Germany contributes to building an effective European and global security system that banishes wars from the world and secures peace in the long term, as agreed in the UN Charter in 1945 and in the Charter of Paris in a binding manner under international law. We are committed to ensuring that Germany contributes to ending wars in other countries by peaceful means through diplomacy. We want to help ensure that the German government advances global détente efforts and promotes the agreement of disarmament steps and joins the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and calls on other states to do the same.

    2. We want to help redirect more resources from the arms budget to promoting relationship building with people in other states and building lasting institutionalised peacebuilding relationships with other states, societies and people and a more interconnected global civil society. We see migrants as peace bridge builders with whom we can make a significant contribution to building a peaceful world.

2.  Promote decent living conditions worldwide for all as a basis for sustainable peace

  1. We want to help ensure that the conditions for sustainable peace are strengthened by Germany in its external relations worldwide, as adopted in the UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Civil Covenant and the UN Social Covenant and modelled in the Civilisational Hexagon (Octagon). We want to help ensure that German politics is committed to orienting the European and global economy towards the fulfilment of social, economic and cultural and political human rights. We advocate that German policy use disarmament to gain the means to create better living conditions worldwide and to shift to an ecologically sustainable world economy and way of life.

  2. We see in the networking of us European citizens with people in other regions of the world a force that can advance peace worldwide. We ourselves can contribute to building sustainable relationships between peace activists in other countries. We see migrants from other countries in Europe as important bridge builders who can make a significant contribution to building a peaceful world.
